This is "Sweet Compassion," the opening piece to a suite of Philip's music called "Dreamscapes" performed by James Kline. Originally this piece was called "Hilary" (composed for a friend) but was renamed by James for the suite. This was aired on the SF Guitar Society show which I produced. James can be reached at elevenstrings dot com.

  • tim thank you fro all your amazing videos super inspirational to all musicians this performance and composition is unique and beautiful beyond..... bravo maestro Kline !!

  • James Kline told me a few years ago that Philip's

music has been received very well in Mexico.

  • Philip Rosheger is on his way to Mexico to do some performances this week. No doubt James Kline's renderings of Philip's music are a wonderful tribute, both for the performances and the adaptation of the music for this wonderful unique instrument. What a great player, friend and asset to the composer as well as to us listening.

  • GREAT!

  • best song ever.

  • "Serenade no.2" was another name given to this

song by another good friend of Philip.

  • Oh my God, like Serenade this performance takes you somewhere and deposits you in another place......richer, more heartfelt and touched.

  • absolutely awesome! 5 stars!!!!!

  • Another beautiful piece by Philip Rosheger played by

the Maestro James Kline! The "Dreamscapes" can be heard

on the CD "Troudadour's Odyssey" available on James'

website.Seven of Mr.Rosheger's compositions plus music

    by Pierre Bensusan,Alain Everts,James Kline,and Keith

    Jarrett.Highly recommended!!
