http://www.myspace.com/BekkaBramlett Performing for a full house @ Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley Saturday March 7, 2009, Bonnie Bramlett showed why she has long been a Queen of Soul and the Blues. Having likewise contributed to the History of Rock & Roll, Bonnie Bramlett continues to be a powerful influence . Like both vintage wine and top shelf Bourbon whiskey, time has only brought the best to an awesome vocal talent. !!! Her daughter, Bekka Bramlett steps in here with some soul touching backing vocals, letting the crowd hear two voices that have touched countless millions of fans. At song's end, Bonnie pays tribute to this song's writer - Gary Cotton. Sometimes here in Music City. you can hear & see legends and stars - and still "see the light". The Bramletts were backed by The Mr. Groove ensemble.

  • The Mother and Daughter both are astounding musical stylists and a real treat to listen to!!

  • The Moither and Daughter both are astounding musical stylists and a real treat to listen to!!

  • @SlipSliddinAway If that were true, it would only be the most scathing indictment of the music industry, however, her "career" and "life" did not stop at all. Just like the Beatles breaking up, things certainly changed when D & B broke up, but I think you are wrong to look at it so black and white.

I think it is better to say that Delaney and Bonnie had something irreplaceable together that shone brightly when they were together, and leave it at that.

  • What a fantastic song:

    Classic Bonnie Bramlett

making something out of a meaningful tune, not just trolling the standards.

  • Boy, she still sounds awesome!

  • amazing soul love you BONNIE AND BEKKA........

  • What a treat. Nice to see she's still doing it and MAN WHAT A MUSICAL LINEAGE !!

The stellar line up of back up musicians she's had... Duanne Allman, Eric Clapton, George Harrison to name a few. First white Ikette too.

  • @SlipSliddinAway Who do you think taught Bekka everything she knows?

  • Bonnie has admitted in recent years that's she's lazy artitst and turns down lots of offers. Bekka ha s written hit songs for Faith Hill. Her father will be missed

  • @SlipSliddinAway Yeah, man, that is kind of a silly thing to say. Of course your opinion is respected, but if you know their history(which you apparently do given your divorce comment) then you would have heard Bonnie in her earlier days. The strength and range she had "back in the day" is really impeccable. NOBODY is "such a better singer" than Bonnie Bramlett was in her prime. Few in her genre even compare. That's my worthless opinion - have a great day!
