  • I saw this at your site:

ERF Registration Period from 15th July 2011 to 14th July 2015

    what does this mean?

  • @bowlda111

This means that FZD School of Design has been awarded by the Singapore Council of Private Education (CPE) to operate as a private education institution. Please refer to the CPE Government website if you need additional information.

The best way to keep jobs coming is by building up great working relationships with huge clients such as Microsoft, EA, Activision, etc. Once these studios like you, they'll stick with you for years (why risk hiring new people when they found a dependable one right?). Meeting deadlines and giving clients cool ideas is the best way to build that relationship.

There are downtimes as well - usually before E3. I love downtimes, gives me the chance to travel and relax.

  • thank you very much i cant stress enough how much you inspired and motivated me to pursue art, thank you

  • thank you so much Mr Feng Zhu!

  • The tablets you mention seem to be on the expensive spectrum, could you please recommend any others that are good enough for an average cost?

  • Great teaching Feng. I have a question about layers. Is it best to work with just 2? - the main painting on top of a background to increase spontaneous work flow - or include separate layers for shadow, highlights/glows, texture and details? How many layers do you usually

work with? Thanks for your help.

  • Great Vids Feng

Have a question on your methods for you, maybe a vid could be useful too?

HOw do you highten up your pics resolution, every time i do it it just makes everything look pixely/blurry

    Thanks

  • Sry, I got the answer. Thanks :)

  • @Fengdesigns my question is: how? as freelancer, its quite long shot. there are too many artists around these days. Big studios receive thousands of emails every day.

Any advice how to stand out (lets say, the portfolio very good already)?

  • This video is full of informative stuff. There were more than 5 questions, which you answered, that I had no idea or wasn't sure about. Thank you very much.

  • Do you always begin with such desaturated colours to allow you more freedom to pick your colours as you progress?
