Hair and nails actually don't grow when you die. It's actually your skin starting to decompose and pulling away/shrinking and it makes it appear as if they grow.

the hair and nails doesnt grow.

but when u die the head "shrinks" dont know how to explain it, but because of that it seems like the hair grows. and im not sure whats with your nails.

When you die your hair dont continue to grow... when your dead ur skin dehydrates and it makes it appear as your hair still grows but its just the skin being pulled back .... lol

Just joining the choir of: hair and nails don't grow after a person dies. It's the skin that makes it appear as if it grows. I can't remember what exactly happens, but I think it's the moist in the skin that goes away or something like that :-) ...

Nail and hair do not grow after death, because the cells aren't dividing anymore seeing that they are all dead.
