Good review so far. I'm not really interested in the Halo series, but I can see that they are okay games. It's not because of the fan-base, it's just that I'm not much of an online gamer and the single player doesn't look that fullfilling. Although I may get the first two games since they're cheap now and may get 3 someday...if microsoft ever lowers the price...

Thanks, I completely agree with you. Unless you are a hardcore Halo fan and know the entire story, the single player is not as fulfilling as other FPS's.

Yeah, I think people have preconceived notions on the Halo series because of the unruly fan base (mainly the kids you meet on Live). Actually the story behind Halo is pretty deep.
