The definition of soak is "to lie in, and become saturated or permeated with water or some other liquid." How sweet it is when our prayer is saturated, completely immersed, in God's presence. This teaching by Catch the First Ministries gives you a step-by step guide to Soaking Prayer. Go to the CBN webpage below for a free brochure download on how to do this.

  • joel10000a Isaia 40:31 is talking about waiting on the Lord and renewing your strength. This is exactly what soaking is... this is what the video is talking about.

  • @thenordicdude Thanks for making it clear to all!

  • Isaiah 40:31 describes this! Read it before you criticize and make up nonsense about Eastern Mysticism..... Oh, brother!!!

  • @thenordicdude Describes what? I don't see what you are talking about.

  • Its meditating on The Word of God,people think of New Age.like the one below...I completely disagree according to The Old Testament (& New).If you actually read your Bible, look it up in the concordance.

  • @andymachine5000 You are not making yourself clear - I can't tell if you are for or against this video!

  • @joel10000a Whoops,sorry...Im for it!

  • @cindydg I would suggest you watch the video on youtube called The Gods of the New Age, which show how Christianity has been infused with Eastern Hindu Mysticism and Yoga practices through such practices. This is just paganism and yoga with Christian termenology.

  • @cindydg AMEN!! I believe 2 Cor 6-16 proves what you say is true!!! So many things we have to look forward to, that are not spelled out in the Bible!!! These are only discerned by our spirits, and the world CANNOT participate, because they are not supernaturally united with God's Spirit!!!

  • Nor is the word 'rapture'.. nor are there "church"buildings, worship teams, and much of what describes modern Christianity. But God will use them, if our hearts are right towards Him.
