  • ESTA DORMIDAAA????

  • You are right, will try to dust off the tapes with the guacamole and aji recipe and get them posted- have been busy with work, I will try to continue producing my mom, Dona Rossana's recipes as soon as I can. Thanks for watching, luzcas

  • I have a question,, why in english???? you can explain in spanish?? thanks

  • Well like many immigrants to the U.S I came as a young child and had the great fortune of having my mother, Dona Rossana cook delicious meals day after day for our family, - I don't cook, my husband is from NJ, and neither do my brothers or sisters or their spouses cook these tipico dishes. We are busy with our careers, families, etc. This is my way of preserving my mom's delicious meals and home life. Realisticly, the cooking traditions depicted here will end with my mom's generation.

  • check out my reggaeton song about arroz con pollo in the video response haha thank you

  • I love it. Great song! My favorite- when you rhyme sofrito with flaquito, and good beat too!

  • This recipe has been the closest I've come to find on a rice I ate a few years ago. The lady that made it is from Colombia, never got the recipe. Her rice was yellow, with a sausage, ham, bits of chicken, vegetables. It was served cold and was so delicious. I will give your recipe a try, it looks very tasty.

  • Gracias Por esta receta! Hice esto para la primera vez y me salio' perfecto! Ahora mi Marido se puede disfrutar de la comida de su herencia! Eres el mejor!

  • Thank you very much for this recipe Ms. Rossana! Luzcas, thank you for posting this video :)

  • @luzcas that's so sad that you say these traditions will end wit your mother's generation. I'm 26 yrs old and there's nothing better than being in the kitchen with your family cooking, laughing, arguing, dancing and i for sure want to pass down this to my kids. If your problem is maybe your husband or any other members of your family being from another heritage you can show them they'll love it. know from experience i'm puerto rican and lived in the states as well and trust me they'll love it.

  • OUTSTANDING RECIPE! My husband and I have made it several times and just love it...I also make homemade tortillas to go with it...yum!

  • Thanks for this! Exactly the recipe I was looking for.

  • Her accent is cute. When I made mine I left out the peas n carrots. Mist of my stuff was Goya products. I could not find any alcapraccodo ??(spelling) the olive n capers mix and I for got the onions:( had my sazon with saffron and adobo with pepper

Still came out pretty good :)

  • Delicioso

  • hi the arroz con pollo looks good. i have a few questions. does your mom brown the chicken with the skin on and does she cook the sofrito separatly or she adds to the pot with the chicken broth. and does she uses frozen vegetables. Thanks for the recipe.
