The stuff is on the opening credits is off the same LP as the Late Last Night song; Mental Notes. The whole album songs morph into the next song like DFarkside of the Moon or Supertramp's Crime of the Century.
Every "song" on Mental Notes is brilliantly bizarre and a safari--sometimes you end up in such a different place you forget how the song started......

@charitymarbles First Oz tour Split Enz did was early 1975 when they arrived in Sydney to a crowded House at The Bondi Lifesaver in Bondi Junction and were introduced to an unsuspecting audience!! It was amazing!!

'Late Last Night' did not appear on Mental Notes , it only appeared on Second Thoughts.Mental Notes was released prior to the song being written.

@foxxyloxx The song's called 'Walking Down A Road', and by the sound of it is the version on the album 'Second Thoughts'. It's a tune.....

JimEAPG, I've been pouring over your Enz videos. The early stuff is a revelation to me -- it's absolutely fascinating to see/hear their early days. Was there anybody even in the ballpark of the sound and look they had back then? Thanks so, so much for posting all this!
