Thanks. I didnt know you could rent movies on Youtube. It's a good thing because they dont sho these movies anymore, in the US, they use to show in the Art house cinemas in America, which are gone now. I had a professsor in College who said these movies use to play a lot when he was younger in the '80s, in San Francisco/Berkeley..etc now the only places are the MOMA in NYC, and the PFA in Berkeley etc...

Yes Jean Paul Belmondo makes today's actors look flat, and ill conceived. Resnais was an original member of the French New Wave or Nouvelle Vague, in the 50's.

So glad to see you depicted a Resnais film.
Belmondo really becomes ‘le beau Sacha’ in Stavisky.
Anny Dupérey is very good in this film.
