I did a solo hike from Elephant Hill to Druid Arch (via Chesler Park/Joint Trail) in early October. Hands down one of my most favorite hikes..ever. The deafening silence while up near Druid Arch is incredible4. It's the first thing you notice. And the rain... it gets kind of scary when you're in the river bed and you start to see the water pooring in from the canyon walls.
