Even when drafting red, he drafts blue/white.

@TheRarNerd I think the issue with Goblin Guide is that when you don't have the consistency of four in a deck that makes him the ridiculous force he is in Constructed, he's just a cheap 2/2 hasty guy (that sometimes gives them free draws.) Having him swing freely on the first two or three turns is what makes him such a powerhouse, and your chances of doing that when four are in the deck are almost 50%. With just one, though, he might not be worth the pick (though I'd probably still take him.)

@insomniac21976 Old comment is old, but do you think you'd ever have time to play out and utilize a Kalitas against a swarm of the smaller creatures (like Plated Geopede, Bladetusk Boar, Windrider Eel, etc.) that rule Zendikar? Your opponents were either pretty slow or you were playing quite the effective control game.

What is everyone's obsession with splashing for 3-4 colors in a draft deck? Does no one realize that mono / 2 colored decks in ZEN/WWK are much more efficient? I don't think I've EVER lost to a deck that was more than 2 colors before..honest.

@TheRarNerd goblin guide gives them a big advantage.

Don't get why he would pass that goblin guide..really

So, how much time until zendikar draft #4! lets make a pool. I say 2 weeks

I thought blue/red was the right choice, the cards just didn't come.

green is not aggressive enough, but it can be very powerful mid game if you get a few nissa's chosen to glue up the board in the 1st few turns. The baloth trap might as well be a removal spell
4th Pick, you still could have gotten Baloth Woodcrasher for a landfall deck. All the R/U cards you had till then were splashable, and a landfall deck tends to have lots of land searching.

grasp, while being a playable card, isnt even close in quality to burst lightning/disfigure
