This video features a leaffooted bug filmed up close during the fall. Leaffooted bugs are a member of the plant bug family and will overwinter or hibernate when it gets cold. They commonly move onto homes and other structures during the fall and if they group in large enough numbers, expect to see them in living areas.
A lot of people call those stink bugs around here. I find them kinda cute!

This is what is commonly called a stink bug around my neck of the woods, because when you step on one, it emits a very pungent, nasty odor.
I never knew the proper name for them.
