because they are pumping alot of fuel in to make up for boost, and when you let off the gas, it allows alot of excess fuel to pass through the system before it realizes the air/fuel mix is messed up and before it can stop feeding fuel. Thats just excess gas in the exhaust.

hey ive got an 87 fc and all u really have to do is have straight exhaust piping as in no cats.Theyve got three cats to reduce the gas and loud noise.Since youre N/A id recommend putting the RacingBeat Header and ur exhaust,also change the muffler.too much backpressure for ur straight pipe,its holding back all the flow.but just hold the rev at 4k RPM and then floor it once and ull see a huge flame.Ill put vids once im done rebuilding

Stock ECU + BOV + FCD + Fuel pump + Strait pipe 3 inch exhaust = FLAMES!
now its fully tuned with standalone and lots of other things. :) ill check em out

Nice vid. I recommend removing the cat in the exhaust system which will help a lot.

thers no cat in there.. you cant shoot flames with a cat / cats because they burn off the raw gas that causes the flames!
