I get the same thing all the time because I'm generally quite shy.

Though I understand their intent but also see your point of view as well.

Of course you can't nor shouldn't forget about the horrible events and tragedies that happened and still do happen, however you don't have to mourn and dwell on the bad all the time either.

It helps to find joy and happeniss for yourself and others, even if only for a moment.

It can't rain all the time.

just the way you say things sounds mean and bitter. "hope u had a veeery merry christmas" <--- ?? why do you want people to feel bad for being happy? for feeling joy in a time of great sorrow. Christmas is a time of year where people come together and share love, you can hate on that all you want but it's not going to change the fact that you are not helping anyone especially yourself with this horrible attitude and whoa is me personality. It's all ego games.

You were judgmental, more than a bit insulting, extremely pompous with a sense of arrogance that wasnt very well hidden, and unfortunately that pretty much shattered any credibility you might've had. Yeesh Kierri. What do rapists and trains and all the nonsense have to do with being happy?

You choose to focus on those things because your ego "gains" something from them. You feel above people because you "feel" all these horrible things and others are lower for supposedly "not caring" bull

Spreading more hurt and pain is helping? who is "overlooking" the broken and the suffering?

I ASSURE you Kierri, that cheering up and becoming a happier person would do a million times more good vs.
