These signals were created in the early 1970's by a local radio shop for Moorestown, N.J. to use for dispatching Fire and Ambulance calls to avoid confusion since the fire and ambulance tones were simillar sounding. They were discontinued in 1992. The warble tone was used to activate the sirens.
