@leaf16nut click the letter "u" whne you select the effect in the timeline and it should show you all the keyframes. Delete them and make your own. i think they have default keyframes directing the emitter.

Of course, you would have to "have" Trapcode's Particular to do any of this. Ahhhh. Adobe relationships with their 3rd Parties will never die. So, yeah..don't go thinking Adobe will ever DARE put a particle generator/simulator in AE any time soon, or at all. heh ehhe ehhe. This is why I never got AE. Hitfilm, while still in it's infancy, has potential.

@EBTL0947 There are 3 or 4 particle generators in AE native. CC Particle world, CC particle systems II, CC Mr Mercury, Particle Playground. Sure, they aren't as awesome as Trapcodes plug-in but for basic stuff, even fire embers, they could easily substitute.

would you try fireflies in a nightime scene using this plug in

@sliderkk I have made fireflies once in a scene, so easy. just little glowing particles floating around. make the fire embers tutorial and just color them differently. then place them in a scene, may need to track the shot so that it matches the movement. but not much else to it really.
