It starts with the "Homicidal Barber" who we then discover to be the cross-dressing jolly-singing lumberjack wannabe...
To wrap things up, Gumby shows off his incredibly talented crooning... Very touching! Touching indeed!
I'm slowly uploading the entire Flying Circus series... Got any requests?

This is an amazing sketch. I love how it changes from a homicidal barber to a lumberjack who wears women's clothes. It's just so random, but yet so brilliant! I love how Terry Jones doesn't seem to suspect him when Michael makes a reference to blood and murder.
The first time I saw this, I didn't see the lumberjack part coming, so when it happened, I laughed so hard. The entrance of the mounties was also surprising.
actually there was no Deamon barber of fleet st it was just a yarn in the pennydreadfulls of early 19th cen. But based on a true crime committed in Paris shortly after the revolution.
Fun Fact: This song was made in under 20 minutes by the Python group. Fun Fact #2: Monty was the name of a guy that was a small tidy man and Python was the name of course of a snake that was as slimey can be.
They made up a song of genius in under 20 minutes? Wow, they're really talented. This is a classic song that I'm sure all Monty Python fans like to sing once in a while. (I know that I do.)
they were thinking of a way to make a good ending for the shows on BBC so i think it was Micheal Palin made a suggestion to do it as a barber shop courtet/musical and the blood was probbaly put in there because it happened there in britan or because he would cut artires accidenaly because he was so nervous. all in all nice job guys i have it on my IPod and i sing it in the mall i get song weird looks an dsome people sing with me to.
