MAGOSM demo w/ ipad

MIDI Air Guitar One Stream Mapping (MAGOSM) interprets acceleration and fsr presses into MIDI notes and control messages.

This demonstration use only note on and pitch bend to control a synthesizer on the iPad. This is the first a few demos of the new firmware. Most of the mapping is processed on the left hand arduino. The right hand does some peak detection for the strumming gesture, and tempo calculations, but otherwise just sends MIDI continuous control messages of each sensor state. The left hand translates the sensors on both hands into MIDI messages that any MIDI controlled synth would understand.

This is a really basic demo. Still lots to do. But now I don't necessarily need my laptop to make music with the MIDI AirGuitars!!!!
