Looking for the Glamour in this job.
This is what this job has turned into. Collecting trash from passengers. My favorite trash is "Butt-Trash". That's the trash they pull out of their butt at the last minute.

OMG...How funny. I posted this video, I took this video in the last year of my 43 year career as a F/A.

#1. I worked for Delta..Cabin Service cleans the airplane. The F/A's are busting their ass to cover 3 concourses in 20 minutes to get to their next airplane, which the agents board behind you as you are hauling ass down the jetway.

#2. I flew in the golden years of flying, the 60's. Things were a lot different.

this video reminds me of the to many burnout senior mamas we have at my airline.sorry but i love my f/a job so if you don't then take the retirement package and get out.plenty of people are waiting for your job.

You gotta' laugh or you'll cry. The airline is dependent on thoughtless customers. If they did not fly the airline would be bankrupt.  The Flight Attendants do a phenomenal job. When the plane goes down, that's when they are worth more then they are paid. Thank you for saving my ass.

Wow! what an awesome video, I am a flight attendant for a major middleastern airline, and on some of the flights we do the glamour is worse than the one you have shown, but you know what: the people like you are the ones who inspire me.. wow.. 43 years opposed to my 7 years... well big difference!

You F/A's do an awesome job and I for one really appreciate what you do! What really amazes (read 'disgusts') me, is those that fly Business Class are the messiest passengers EVER! I've flown BC once and it was a great flight, but I couldn't believe how many ignorant passengers would just throw their newspapers on the floor, along with napkins, plastic cups, etc. 13+ hours on a flight and you guys are right there for us! Thanks!

@eileenfitz1965 Yeah, I wish that we are still required to wear hats lol. Did bubble hair-do protectors really exist back then? I would imagine service to be hectic back then as opposed to today where everything is for purchase ie snacks :s

@76er300 You sound like a bitter Junior. I'm a junior myself and I enjoy talking to senior F/As. Before deregulation happened, those were the glamour days:P I can only relive it through the seniors haha!
