I've quite enjoyed all the Sonic games. The modern ones aren't given enough credit. Like the strange flop of Sonic 06, though I suspect overhype was the cause of that, or Sonic Unleashed. My only explanation is overhype and sometimes gimmick-hate (which is something else I fail to understand). Sure there were problems in the games (like the super speed mode in Sonic 06 or the overuse of the Werehog form in SU), but they don't mean the games as a whole suck.
