Like all these kata videos, it might be a good idea to put a camera up above him and at an angle. The type of strike after the hands on hips can not be seen. It is a chudan urachen-uke I believe.

i'm not sure what matsubayashi ryu is - my sensei just calls our style shorin ryu, but this is definitely the closest i can find on youtube to how i was taught the pinan katas
thanks for posting, it makes it much easier for me to relearn the sequence after taking a long break from practice
