I like Anissina & Peizerat but I think this time Fusar-Poli & Margaglio really deserved the gold medal. And speaking of him, a good partner is not just "a good dancer".

He is an absolute joke as a skater, he is awful. Barbara is wonderful... and I agree it is a team sport they are a pair, thus they should have never been crown world champions. But I do think that Barbara is definitely worthy of the title.

This is just my opinion: i like their combination, they're just perfectly fit for each other. Barbara of course is very good and she's the leading one, so what? I mean, i absolutely adore her and i think that everything she's done was thanks to her supportive partner, Maurizio. I think he's very good and yes, i remember his mistakes, but i remember lots of other champions' ones too...they're human after all :)
Anyway thank you so much for posting this video, i love all their performances!!

No, you're not the only one to notice. That was always their weakness, that Babs was such a strong skater and performer and Mauri absolutely wasn't. They remind me of the Duchesnay's and Khokhlova & Novitsky in that respect.

I soooo agree. This couple was really original, but Margaglio was really bad at this level. Fusar-Poli on the other hand was just extraordinary!!!
The judges must have focused on her. I don't mean to be a hater but Anissina/Peizerat were just better by all means...

Well they are suppose to be a team, and she does all the work, he is not half the skater she is ! Also they were part of the vote trading with the French/Russian connection Annissina/Peizerat. They went from 9th to 5th to 2nd to 1st, quite a leap in the ice dancing world. People were well aware of the vote trading going on, not that the general public was.

Am i the only one to notice that he's a very bad comparing to her ??? my god his edges are terrible, and the program is constructed around her. she does everything !!!
