@AngNTexas It's not a black power fist, you steer fucking cowshit. It's a Joe Louis monument. He was born in Detroit you moron. The monument is adjacent to the Joe Louis Arena where the Red Wings play. It was built in 1986 (well after the 1967 riots, which most Detroiters agree, was a mistake!) The city would have never approved a "black power" symbol in the middle of downtown Detroit in 1986 you dummy. The material is bronze, it got darker over the years because of being outside moron
