Maynard is an amazing artist. His voice can be so soft and lilting, a beautiful lullaby, or powerful and angry. His lyrics are profound, and have changed my life. There's so much raw emotion and insight to the human mind. True talent. This, my friends, is true music. Enjoy it.

@goomba76 Perhaps the faggiest aspect of this band is their fanbase, who over-analyze every last lyric or detail about the band ad absurdum, and think Tool members are Gods and Maynard is an alien that will lead them to salvation. Most of the fans are whiny angsty teenagers, who are closely related to Emo kids, but unlike emos, they unfortunately don't try to kill themselves.
