The alleged call girl at the center of the Eliot Spitzer scandal and known now as Ashley Dupre, grew up as Ashley Youmans along the Jersey Shore. Residents say she left quite an impression. (March 13)

I don't buy the whole "tough life" story. Grew up in a big house. Sitting on a boat in the tropics? Living in a $3,500 - $6,500 per month Manhattan apt? Please, let's get over the sob stories to make someone sound like some sort of urban legend. She made BAD decisions, just like Spitzer did. There are some real people out there who really do, or have had, tough lives that have truly overcome by making the RIGHT decisions. They are the Urban Legends. Now that's KEEPIN IT REAL, YO!!!

I doubt it. Chances are she's going to be a witness at Spitzer's trial. As a witness I'm guessing she's going to get a suspended sentence at the most. She's also going to get a lot more coverage during the trial.

She mentioned leaving a broken home full of abuse. She didn't say that she grew up poor only poorly. The poverty she speaks of is in regard to her financial situation after running away from home, where she quote, "left and learned what it was like to have everything and lose it again and again".
