My soldier episode 6

(a/n: again sorry its going by fast. Its hard to write when youve never actually experienced war before. This is mostly coming form my imagination. BUt again this part is gonna go by kinda quick, so I can get to the actual nelena stuff)

(2 months later)

nicks POV
This is absolute torture. Im so bored. Selena only talks to me, to tell me what I have to do to "survive" but I know this isnt a real survival test, because if I go down, shes going down with me. Basically, If I fail the survival test, since she relies on me for EVERYTHING she'll die the same time I do.
end POV

selena-(picking apart a fish) If you ate this you would die.
nick-would not.
selena-jonas, you didnt even cook it all the way through, this fish could kill someone.
nick-(smirks) I wasnt trying to do that at ALL
selena-I told you no joking! Your here to learn, not to joke around(goes into her tent) good night soldier.
nick-Its only 7!
selena-(yells from inside the tent) The early boy catches the fish!
nick-that makes NO sense.
selena-(pops out her head) go to sleep, cuz you and your HORRIBLE survival skills, are getting the fish tomarrow.

(2 am)

nicks POV
I can sleep with all the rain hitting against the tent. All I hear is pitter patter pitter patter. Its annoying! Not to mention Its freezing because the stupid wind keeps whipping around. And Its not like I can say to myself"it'll all be better in the morning!" cuz It wont! im stuck with the one person in the world that I hate. This chick couldnt be anymore of a man! I bet she is! Shes probably a real ugly dude, with long hair and a girly voice, so he just acts like a girl!!
end POV

selena-(screams)
nick-(rolls his eyes) if this is another "midnight training" i think im gonna kill myself!
selena-(screams)
nick-(gets out of his tent) WHAT?!!
selena-(standing outside her tent, covered in rain) THAT!(points to her tent, which is on fire)
nick-WHAT DID YOU DO?!
selena-IT WASNT ME! IT WAS STRUCK BY LIGHTNING!!!
nick-WELL PUT OUT THE DAMN FIRE!
selena-I CANT! WERE OUT OF WATER, BUT THAT WOULDNT EVEN HELP! ITS RAINING!
nick-JUST STAY AWAY FROM THE FIRE, I'LL GO GET SOME WATER!(runs into the forest)

nicks POV
I ran as fast as I could, maybe If I did something good for her tonight, she would let me relax tomarrow.
end POV

nick-(takes the bucket of water and tosses it towards the fire)
selena-It helped a little.
nick-looks its going down.
(the fire goes out)
selena-great. Now were am I supposed to stay for the next 3 months!

nicks POV
she looked worried, I could see stains under her eyes, even through the rain. When I left, she must of been crying. This overwhelming emotion took over me, Ive never felt like this before, and I said something that I knew I would regret.
end POV

nick-since your tent is burnt down, and you did put up the tents, You can stay in mine. I'll sleep out here.
selena-thanks, but thats your tent, and I couldnt do that.
nick-well, you cant stay out here in the rain either.
selena-i'll be fine, really.
nick-you're lying. Just saty in my tent tonight, and we'll figure something out tomarrow.
selena-(shrugs) okay.(walks into nicks tent) ewww jonas, your tent smells like feet!
nick-Its better than sleeping in the rain(moves to one end of the tent)
selena-(lays on the other) goodnight jonas.
nick-(smirks to himself)
