H/D shades are great...when they work... BUT, they need to have STRONGER DRAW CORDS! The internal draw cords they have are thin, are prone to failure, only a couple of years into usage; (This is even when TLC is utilized in operation.) Without repair, the shade is totally unworkable. These shades are far too expensive to have this kind of planned obsolescence built into them- C'mon, H/D... GET WITH IT! Put some stronger draw cords on these!
