Minecraft Alpha Huge Forest and Ocean Cavern 2/2

I really wish I could share saves from the minecraft alpha, single player Infdev. Since I can't, I thought I'd share my level with everyone.

I've grown a huge forest in-between bouts of making a huge borehole around a cavern entrance I found on the beach. Needless to say I've removed all the sand (and converted it to glass which you can see I used to mine even further underwater) and started exploring the cavern.

Much to my surprise, I found the cavern is unbelievably huge! This is the second of two videos showing the impressive cave structure below the sea. As you can see, a separate entrance leads to the same spot from the first video.

I was more interested in exploring the breath of the cavern (and only returning to the surface to make more torches) than I was strip mining everything.

That cave looks pretty awesome. You did a really nice job on it. You could add some mine carts and possibly put glass over the lava so you could walk on it. Just a suggestion. I also see you have had plenty of time on your hands because you have alot of diamond armor and tools.

Cartograph makes a map for you.

INVedit is an inventory editor and is NOT shunned by the minecraft community.

Also the more torches you have the lighter it is which also mean less mobs.
