When I Have Sung My Songs, written by Ernest Charles. This song was a challenge for me with some interesting intervals. It was a lot of fun to sing though!
@sethparshall - Femalre repertoire? WhWHAT??? A man wrote it. Lyrics and all. Just because Flagstad and Ponselle sang it doesn't mean that a uterus is a prerequisite. Actually, I prefer a man in this song, because its passages in the upper register come off better....
This song is great I'm a freshman at highschool and I'm a guy and it is challenging to control the vibrato in this I have to take this up to state so yeah!!! also try singing it more choral like but still really really good
You do a really good job of adding shimmer and support at the ends of phrases. Try to carry that support throughout the entire phrase, that "shimmer". In this recording, you're singing it very belt like...if that's what you're going for good job, but if you're going for a classical sound just keep that support strong and those vowels tall and rich. The F and G were also very straight tone, try to add some support to those. Otherwise, well done!
