@Reve101 lol. Obama could do things to increase communications for Iranian "dissidents" like free satellite Internet access, as McCain suggested. The point is Obama is against intervening in other countries in their internal politics. Its not our place to judge or influence Iran. The nuclear issue is different, that is international relations since Iran signed the NPT.

these people really don't understand the politics in Iran (not that many people do) As soon as the Obama Administration starts backing Mousavi; he will be accused of being backed by America and it will give ammunition to Ahmadinejad and the rest of the hardliners in Iran to attack Mousavi. The best thing for US (if they want the reformist in Iran to succeed) is to not interfere.

This panel doesnt understand diddly about Iran. One call from Hilary to Mousavi is like the kiss of death for the man. That is precisely what Mr. Kristol wants, 4 more years of Mahmoud to aid his Israeli bosses in their pursuit of maintaining the status quo. Best help by America is to stay calm and just leave it to the people of Iran for now or until a time when outside help from a coalition of the western counties seems appropriate.
