  • The CGP is a Gretsch guiitar that came out a few years ago. Its a reproduction of Chet's prototype from 56' with stereo wiring.

Darrel made it sound great .

  • Pretty nifty and neato! Checkout rockabillygone all one word

  • I've always had respect for D, Higham and his style of playing.

  • @johnnyweep59 It's not a problem! However, there won't be any more guitarists being labeled as a C.G.P. as Chet Atkins died back in 2001. Also, as great a guitarist as Brian Setzer was, Atkins only gave that honorary title to those who mainly play/played fingerstyle.

  • @badfinger848 thanks..i think Brian Setzer should be added though!

  • @johnnyweep59 CGP stands for 'Certified Guitar Player,' which is an honorable title given to only four guitarists by the great Chet Atkins. The four guitarists given the title of CGP are Jerry Reed, John Knowles, Steve Wariner and Tommy Emmanuel.

  • @johnnyweep59 complete gay prick..?

  • these rockabilly styles are cool.

  • 6120 1954 is the famous guitar used by the late Eddie Cochran Alittle prettier and a little more Blonde if you want to see it check Eddie doing Singing to my baby
