Made in a few hours from footage shot using Tiffen's new Steadicam Smoothee for iPhone 4. It was my first time using it and I got better as the afternoon progressed. Plus the rig kept getting buffeted by the wind. But there are some incredibly smooth shots. Looking forward to using it more!

  • Not sure but check Tiffen's web site they make rigs for more than just iPhone so they may make an iPod Touch version, too.

  • Hello!

I have one question...I just got an iPhone 4s and i was wondering if the steadicam would work with it, and do the clips scratch the iphone? are they extremely tight?

  • @daylife17777 I'm sure the 4S works with this just fine with it it is 99% identical in form to 4... I think maybe the mute button moved a millimeter down or something but that's about it. And the clips are very tight, yes, but my phone hasn't been scratched or harmed in any way by them.

  • had to watch the my only problem with SteadiCam, and then watched this. This is an amazing video. Did you do any "post" image stabling? Really good job though. I have an idea now to use this with a fisheye from photojojo combined, and I think it's gonna be awesome!

  • @AllThatOtherJunk Thank you! No post stabilization, no. Just picked the best moments. It was my first time out with the rig.

  • What did u use for color correction on iPhone?

  • @oloSS96 Shot on iPhone; edited in Final Cut Pro.

  • Loved the snotty girl at the end who thought she was all that so much that she thinks someone is actually interested in capturing her average self in a few frames of public video... LMAOF.

  • The footage is amazing. I might have to make a bootleg smoothee lol.

  • Great clip! I miss NYC... Do you know if this rig will work with the iPod Touch (as for fitting)?

  • well good job. it should be a commercial for the smoothee, get up on that tip. copyright it, and submit this shit.

  • well good job.

  • @AllThatOtherJunk No the girl turned back
