This set up would cost over £5,000 from scratch (plus a couple of years to mature/stock) & has been running for 3 years without problems (I've had some of the stock for much longer, moving them on as they grew). Some light scuff type scratches, but hardly visible. Never seen any disease in here.
Owner has 30+ years experience with marines.

  • You need more efficient filtration than for a fish only system, generally speaking (according to how sensitive the fish species you keep actually are)...

    Particularly if you're considering keeping SPS corals...
