@jojo12455 There's nothing that I like more than misinformation....the DC-10 cargo door design was faulty from the get go....look up the "Applegate Memorandum"...American Airlines Flight 96...Turkish Airlines Flight 981...then talk to me about the DC-10.

@pcressma No, there was a problem with the aircraft. However, if the baggage handlers had followed the proper procedure outlined in the manual, these accidents may have never happened.

@pcressma The DC-10 was a great aircraft. It just earned a bad rep for an accident that could have been avoided if the airline had followed the prescribed maintenance program.

I truly mIss this airline........ a true personification of Canada, and plus much better than that piece of S*** airline Air Canada....

Great Commercial, Great Airline. Except for the sad fact that they used DC-10 equipment, Canadian was an excellent carrier.
