thats cool man we let our roam around the house all the time and they try to get back into their cage to go poo. we can almost tell that is what they are trying to do. but you can tell that they want to get into a cage. Man it amazes me how smart they really are.

Sorry I never answered back. Her eggs are not fertile. She lays them next to my bed and under my computer table. She lives in the house and only goes in her tank to warm up and eat. She toilets outside or in her tank when it's cold outside. I toilet trained her the same as I train puppies and it worked. She sleeps for about 3 months during the winter which kills me to be without her. She opens her eyes and then goes back to sleep. She doesn't eat or drink the whole time.

So your dragons is laying infertile eggs then??? As far as sleeping through the winter. I have not seen any of our dragons do that. Some times we let them sleep for days at the time but they always wake up and come out to see us and get fed or something. But we have never really noticed a "hibernation" period..

she will just look at you. The first 24 hrs are the most important. You want to have the incubator up and running. warm vermiculite some where between 83f and 87f for the temp. you want to rotate the egg to position the fetus at the top of the egg mark where the fetus is. lay the egg in the vermiculite and keep it damp for 65+ days until they hatch. be prepared for many clutches and many eggs. end result lots of babies to feed then sell
