Tori Amos will never entirely reveal the subjects of her songs. She is a mysterious woman....whose songs write "through" her. There isn't always a meaning, perhaps other than to perplex you and cause wonder.

@Spageulike I don't think that this song talks about suicide, but you know this is the beauty of music... Have different meanings=) For me this song is a perfect description of a big problem inside Religion of today. Even the holy men, the church men, are abnormally attracted to sin.
