Demonstration of Android at Google IO 2008. I apologise for the camera shake but this is worth seeing. Watch out for the Google Street View integrated with on-phone compass at the end of the video.

  • The 3G iphone will bring the following to the table: 3G capabilities. Suprise!! That is the highlight of the new release, hence the term "3G iphone". Personally I am infinitely more excited about the android based phones that will be released. android = iphone + better apps, less expensive, and most importantly less restrictions for software developers!!

  • the compass thing rocked

  • Parece muy bueno. Pensad en los Españoles......no se olvide la Ñ.

  • which isn't that bad

    compared to the iphone

  • i can see TomTom disppearing in a few yers...

  • cool, nice, etc etc however...the icons look HORRIBLE....it looks like Windows 95...come on!

  • Another gadget I don't need...

  • Pull down menu bar hey... I'm surprised it has taken this long for that old Amiga trick to come back.

  • the service isn't through google. it's through t-mobile and they do have a $20 a month data service. which will include internet, gps, ect.

  • You obviously don't understand how many Applications will be downloaded, jailbreaked or hacked using Google Android. Google Android will allow you to add tons of applications onto your phone. Also if you have a PSP you'll know what I'm talking about if not you may not. It's going be just like that I assume.

  • i hope you don't have to pay extra for browser and gps stuff. that's why google's awesome, the free stuff.
