I've seen many great athletes fall to lesser athletes because they were too one dimensional. You can use your Kimbo example... but he quickly washed out of UFC & is 7-0 as a pro boxer. Very few athletes train to be street fighters because nobody want's to do for free what they can get paid to do. It's like Mike Tyson said: "Boxing dominated the macho manly scene & so now MMA has taken it's place."

Boxing spends all it's money on one or two guys while UFC spreads it's money around to insure the future growth of the sport. Give UFC another 10 years of dominating PPV & you will start seeing massive pay days in MMA. FYI Tiger Woods; Arnold Palmer; Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson ect all richer than Floyd. Mayweather isn't even top 30 of richest athletes.

he actually didn't name all of them let me give you some stats floyd mayweather is the highest paid athlete to ever live in he has made over $635 million dollers in payper view with sponsers and attendance he has made over $900 million dollers also he just signed a 6 fight deal with showtime for $250 million dollers tell me one ufc fighter that can even make anywhere near $40 million for one fight

I love UFC and i like boxing almost as much. But Dana white is a fucking dick head when it comes to money . His fighters are getting fucking destroyed in the cage and work harder than most athletes on the planet, yet he gives them fucking chump change compared to what he keeps. hes a fucking fat prick who thinks he deserves there money. listen to nick diaz or any fighters who have the balls to bringit up. anderson and gsp ,jon jones wont fight each other because the money isnt right. growup guys

Funny cuz the top tier UFC fighters are SLOWLY starting to realize getting maimed and cauliflower eared isn't so endearing anymore and are fighting less frequently and not against the other top guys. UFC will be more of a letdown than boxing as long as it's a monopoly. Circus act as you will....
