The epic battle continues and the two half human/demon twins Dante and Vergil fight to the death! They exchange blows both in their demon and normal form! The strategy to this fight is luck, speed, and learning the attack patterns of Vergil! Just watch him! You won't be able to beat him the first time! No one can without cheating. Heh. The fight ended quickly and Dante dealt the finishing blow! Another cutscene shows Dante and Vergil charging at each other for the last time. This time Dante struck Vergil down at incredible speed and beat him. Vergil dropped the Force Edge but kept his mother's amulet. Dante tried to save Vergil but he fell down the cliff anyway into the unknown. Dante moved on and grab the Force Edge! Back at human world ruins, Dante met up with Lady to return her Kalinna Ann weapon. The two suddenly encountered more Hell Prides! For the love of %@&! Anyway, that's the end. The credits roll but you can still control Dante while the credits roll. If you can kill over 100 demons something will happen. Sadly, I only killed 95. Oh, well. You're gonna have to find out for youself what happens.

Wait in DMC4 the sword of Sparda looked a lot different why is that?

@Waveking95 The Force Edge is the form the sword Sparda takes when the two amulets aren't fused one with it so if they're fused into one it takes the form of the one in DMC4 and DMC1 as well.

I cant beat him in Haven or Hell dificulty, his damage is superior and his demon form lasts too long, any advice how to kill him??

It was quite a bittersweet ending. Did you hear in the end when Lady asked, "Dante are you crying?" Dante replied, "No it's the rain." "But the rain already stopped," devils may cry somewhere out there when they've lost loved ones," replied Lady. I like this dialoge cuz it incorporates the actual name of the game. It has a lot of meaning in it. Really and truly we know that Dante was sad because of Vergil.

lol they did a walkthrough of this fight on cheats. kristen holt was so hot that day lol well anyway she said to avoid vergil at all times when he devil triggers(i think it was something like don't even think of going near vergil when he goes devil mode)
