A tune from "The J. E. Brewster Banjoist", 1884. Originally for banjo in the classic style. I play it on a 1930s remake of a 1890s parlor guitar.

I'm a blues or jazz player, not a classical player, so this tune is a little out of my turf and I ended up laying on the rubato too heavy for this to be danceable. But what the hell, nobody polkas any more, right?
YouTube mangled the beginning of the video the first time I uploaded it, so I had to delete it and upload again. All I succeeded in doing was nuking the one rating it had gotten...
It's nice that you've chosen to arrange a Horace Weston tune for guitar. Try it in polka time, you might enjoy that, too.

What would polka time be like on this tune? Any suggestions for how to visualize it? I'm not a polka player so this is a bit over my head.
