While we're swimming in data from the Internet, until we can make more sense of it, traditional market research methods seem secure.

But a whole load of new sources of free data are now being packaged up into useful online resources.

In these cash-strapped times we might be able to save money on research by using these free sources - but you can't cut corners on good insight.
