  • I need a new set of handles too, can't turn the round ones any longer. Might as well buy a whole new thingee. Cheers!

  • I am a renter with a deadbeat landlord, also the ONLY way to shut off the water is to go to the city shut-off on the sidewalk. This would require a plumber's key. The way my existing valve is installed the old valve would have to be cut out and a new one soldered in. My plumber said he would do it for a. Addl $200 This product is Godsend for folks who cannot access or easily replace a valve.

  • Seems like a good product for a person that doesn't have the knowledge to fix it the right way, but when your turning this valve off, its usually because your changing or repairing the faucet. So why not just do it the correct way and not put a band-aid on a broken valve?

  • Now you got 2 isolation valves.. Whats the point in that?
