@muskokamark What lake is this?
-
Absolutely not Air Force aircraft or para flares. I am in the Army, para flares go straight up, light up for 25 seconds and thats it. On excercize, we never light off more than two in a row. If they are flares from Air Force aircraft, you would have heard a CF-18 or a big old Transport fly over before. There are no mass hot air balloon launches at night either. Those are definate ORBS

Ohh it was the camera zooming in and out, my mistake!!

I realize this is 2 years old but those are not sky lanterns, are you kidding me? Watch the beginning of your video again. 4 of them zoom to the left away from the one that stays in place, then about 8 seconds later, they zoom right back into place. And if they were airplanes they would be moving?? Not flashing in place??

okay that is not ufo. i thank is maybe the moon or airplane.

Satans Demons flying around. the fallen Angels

ah! this reminds me eerily of Cloverfield.
People they are Japanese Lanterns. It's not a guess on my part. A very close personal friend was there when they were set free. Just a big candle inside a paper sphere. Depending on the height of each they will take different paths based on the air flow at that altitude. and @royalCompass this is Lake Muskoka Muskoka Bay in Gravenhurst

As it turns out... That is what they are. I found out there was a wedding not too far from there where they let off some japanese sky lanterns. Turns out I know one of the guys that let them go personally... But just goes to show you its a UFO until its Identified :-)

IF you do a search on sky lanterns this is what it could be... however the wind generally does not go in that direction nor would all of these things stay perfectly uniform for the entire distance we saw them move. Still strange but possible.

The formation they hold looks like it could be Ursa major. Has anyone compared it?

This moved from north to south to a point of not being able to see it anymore in a period of less than 5 minutes so not a star formation. Im thinking maybe Helium balloons with bright LED lights or something attached or inside. It was too convienent that it happened after the fireworks when everyone would be looking up in the sky
