I messengered full time for 7 years, and part-time for the last 4. At some point I burnt out on it, but not before having the time of my life. Messengering made me strong, independent, resourceful, and Happy...not to mention the bike skills and kick ass metabolism! When I needed a change I knew I could never work some desk job, or a bar or food...almost anything is a step down. Eventually I found nursing school, gonna be an RN next summer.

great footage here! (lol i watched it with psytrance music and got a bit high) ....also i started believing that this is the most awesome job perhaps, if you're skilled..... and going to be my next (or other job -despite the payment or danger) :)

I've met bike couriers in probably 10 countries while bike touring. When I rode through a city, they were usually the first ones to point me towards a hostel or good safe place to stay. Here in Vancouver, they're part of a larger group of pretty cool people I've met while riding.
