About a year too late! ;) I have always been meaning to upload a proper slideshow of my time in Korea. Well, I suppose it's better late than never!

For those who don't know, during my fall semester of 2009, I went on a student exchange program through my school to Inha University (which is in Incheon, about an hour outside of Seoul). I had a blast there and have a lot of fond memories. This first video pretty much focuses on my school, the people I met, and Incheon itself. Eventually I'll put up some other videos of my time in Seoul, Jeju, my training with the TKD team.

I did this in WMV real quick like (I'm sure somewhere, my film teachers are crying), but you know, it was just more of a stress relief than anything else. It's pretty much a mix of photos and videos.

For those wondering the song, It's Good Day (좋은날) by IU. Lyrics have nothing to do with the vid, but it has that nice little upbeat tune that I enjoy. :3

Hopefully more videos to come in the future!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

  • so how did you communicate with people? i really want to study in korea!

  • @siimplyannabelle There were actually a lot of people who spoke English. So... a lot of mixing between both English and Korean. :)

  • Did you have to learn korean before going there?

  • @IchigiXSHINeeX2pm I decided to learn the Hanguel before going over, but there were also Korean classes at my school. :)

  • Thank you! I really like South Korea!

I have read that Koreans are not that nice to foreigners; but it seems you had a lot fun :)!

  • @Moniksama I think it depends in where you are and what you're doing. I know that some people had problems, but everyone that I've met was really kind to me. They always tried to accomodate me and make me feel welcome in Korea and I tried my best to return my thanks. Most people were more curious than anything. I think there are good people and bad people in every country and culture.
