Go to http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Oil_Filters for the types of oil filters you can use. Please be gentle with the comments. This is the first video I've made and uploaded, so please be nice. =)

  • um dont ride befor you do oil change let it sit before you do it the oil will be up in the head if u ride before hand and plus oil is hot

  • @ausirider91 It is important that you ride before doing an oil change. I'm not saying to change your oil when you're bike is hot; that would indeed be stupid. I'm saying just take it out for a couple miles. If you ride, you change the viscosity of the oil, making it easier to drain out, and you will force any impurities from the bottom of the oil pan (like metal shavings etc.) into the surrounding oil so it will drain with the oil.

  • Great Vid! Gonna do my 250 this weekend. Next time try latex gloves!

  • I didn't have any on hand, but great suggestion for others. Thanks for the comment! =)

  • dammmnnn look at those boobies

  • Awesome video. I barely noticed the motorcycle. Will have to watch it over again.

  • Ausi is correct though, don't change the oil immediately after getting the engine super hot. Give it time to cool down a bit.

You still don't wanna change the oil without having ridden it though, because then dirt and metal shavings might just sit on the bottom and not drain out. When you ride it, the dirt and metal is sweeped up and mixed in with the oil, so then when you drain it, you've gotten more impurities out.
