  • oh the days i spent on the RMs

  • @fatcontroller70 That's what ibus is for! (assuming the driver has it switched on!)

  • Lovely little movie of Seventies London it looked so civilised & safe I noticed the Clippie walking home alone at half past twelve at night you could not possibly do that now for fear of getting attacked or even murdered.

  • I agree 100%. This country of ours has changed so much - for the worse.

  • Fascinating little film.Good old London Transport.

  • Yes, it's a shame that they dont make similar films these days, would be good to look back on in years to come.

  • Is this around 1977 to 1979 ?? Oh dear, oh dear. the passengers look a bit different now unfortuneatly. I had garages in SE London and saw the RAPID change from 1980 on, bad, really bad. Thats why I live on the Isle of Wight, part of the white exodus,

  • For Anna and her boyfriend, it's 2 seats in the circle, then supper afterwards...I'll bet the bloke's got other ideas about 'supper'

  • @scruttart yeah by her kids

  • shame they did away with conductors the poor blind fella would probably end up getting lost

  • I used to red bus rover it in the 70's and also London country rovers but now I would most likely get beaten up by yobby gangs of shit so it would be to dangerous. even when I use the tube now I am looking.

I moved to co Durham now and it is like the 70's up there I mean no schvarzers

  • Great times. I wish they'd never ended.

  • Yes scruttart, times have changed , I used to walk in some very dark isolated places at night in London working with British Rail and felt totally safe .
