  • The cost of the registry office & the reception held in the local pub. It's unlikely to have cost very much. As the tv crew were filming on the day, it's probable that his fee for appearing on the programme covered any expense.

People are always asking "if he's so poor why does he smoke, drink, get married..." People don't stop doing the things other people do simply because they're poor. They have as much right to marriage as anyone. Perhaps ppl should stop breathing in order to save money?

  • It is a shame ITV scrapped World in Action as it was a very popular and well made current affairs programme. Now we have yet another Corrie episode in its place. All the modern ITV wants to show are the same repeats, boring soaps and mindless reality shows.

  • The start of all the Uk's problems , no jobs , no future , 5 years later these reas were full of young kids with guns selling drugs, as for them smoking , about 60p for a pack of 20 back then

The Scholl siblings, brother and sister Hans and Sophie Scholl, were members of the White Rose, a student group in Munich that was active in the non-violent resistance movement in Nazi Germany, especially in distributing flyers against the war and the dictatorship of Adolf Hitler.they were caught. By February 22, 1943, they had been sentenced to death by the People's Court, were executed by Guillotine on the same day in the Stadelheim Prison. Students

  • @baleariclife89 too right

  • AND one thing not to be forgotten about here is that this is GREAT BRITAIN.

  • @ftftttffttffttf good on you

  • @treguard1982 what are you on about? In the 80's these people did work but Margaret Thatcher shut down all cole mines and ship yards, these people tried looking for jobs. Back then it was even harder to find a job like it is today. Today, these horrible dolies should have a stop to having kids but back in the 80's, you didn't work then you didn't earn!
