Ok what?, on the gerber web site there are two knives that look the same but on one they say that you require a permit and on the other they don't, do you know why? ;P
-
What tool should be used to sharpen a knife like this? I'm pretty new to knives so any help would be appreciated!

@ShadowandZues32 I have noticed that some of the videos and pictures have the gerber covert FAST with and without the applegate fairbairn signature, why is that?
-

i got a knife yesterday i cant remember wat its called but its by remington and it has the fast technology well thats wat it says buy i took it out the package and tryed fliping it down. "it looks axactly like a milano spring assisted blade" AND IT DIDNT HAVE A FREAKING SPRING. so i have to flick my wrist just to get the blade out

Its actually called the gerber COVERT F.A.S.T. - just to clear up confusion on finding it.

I didn't find anywhere Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Covert FAST(3.7" blade) with a A-F signatures.
Am I wrong?
Thx for answer.

I totally disagree no serrations means emergency cutting of wire and things of that nature are near impossible even with a very sharp plain edge, and tip up just means that a knife can stab your fingers as you reach for it, also the draw is inferior, much slower, if the tip is up. You can almost immediately have the thumbstud region of the knife in your fingers with tip down carry, whereas tip up carry the thumb stud is deep in your pocket.
im deciding between this knife and the torch II tanto and i cant make up my mind what would u reccomend RN?

The Torch II Tanto is not an assisted opener like the Covert FAST is so they are pretty different knives. The Covert FAST is a little lighter and has a slightly longer blade. They are both decent knives for the money.

hows the blade play on that knife?
DieTrying14 2 years ago
There IS a very little bit of horizontal blade play, but it's pretty minimal. I will update with another video that shows exactly how much later on.
Thanks for the question,
