Lightly modded Tamiya Cod Buster 4 wheel drive monster truck.
Novak Super Rooster ESC, Hitec 645MG sterering servo, Trinity Speed Gem Motors. 7.4v LiPo stick pack. Oil shocks in each corner. Front steering mod and skid plate and rear steering lock-out. Tires are from Tamiya Juggernaut. Body is Pro-line lexan Chevy. Futaba 2.4 FHSS radio used.

@NR15GoalScorer - Sorry for the late reply. Stock speed is around 13mph (with included silver can motors). You can add a little more speed by using 7 cell battery or LiPo and also by installing modified motors. They cost in the $200 range before. Tamiya will be re-releasing the clod with a dual motor ESC, so wait for the newest stock just in case you will buy one.

@fattymcfatfatism No problem. Those motors can even wheelie my Clod with a full charged pack. I'll post some wheelie action video someday.

@4wdmt Cool. Thanks. They seem like they have good speed to power ratio.. Ive heard speed gems are the way to go but didnt know what size or the comparison.. This gives me a better idea.. Thanks

@fattymcfatfatism Hi. They are Speed Gems 2 (Orange/Topaz). 11 triple. Already very old and never maintained. Just waiting for them to die anytime. But they are still running strong.
Check out Tamiya's line of brushed motors.

what size speed gems did you run? i need to find a good pair of motors for mine. dont know what i should use yet
